Guest List. Decide now if you want a simple close family and friends wedding attended by just a few or a large gathering of everyone you and your intended and both sets of parents know. This single decision will have a large impact on your budget. Your head count will determine venue size, food and drink expenses and more. Whether you’re getting married in Orlando or on Hawaii, on the beach or in a church, one thing is for sure: you are going to be promising something to your partner. So how do you go about finding the right words? It seems like such a daunting task many decide to leave the job to a minister, but it doesn’t need to be so overwhelming. Here are a few simple guidelines to follow:

• Don’t get pressured into promising anything that you’re not ready to. If you’re not sure, then don’t postpone the whole wedding, just rearrange the words until you are sure. No one ever said you had to say or do anything specific. There are no rules (you don’t even have to say “until death do us part”!) – it’s your wedding.
