We cannot deny that a wedding is the most momentous event in someone’s life. But did you know that there are a lot of traditions when it comes to weddings. These traditions may be a general tradition or particular in one country. There are also traditions which are carried upon from our grandparents and there are the also the modern ones.

These traditions, even if they are particular to one country or culture, can be applied in Toronto weddings. Depending on your preference, your Toronto wedding may have a different theme from other country’s tradition. Let me enumerate some traditions from the other countries that can be applied in a Toronto wedding.

A promise of proper financial support is what the gesture of giving 13 coins by the groom to the bride symbolizes. The coins are then blessed by a priest in order to wish the newlyweds a prosperous and abundant married life. This tradition is from Panama. (more…)
